About this experience

Make your step towards Kakheti Region – known as Georgian Cradle of Wine. Wine-making traditions date with more than 8000 years and it is tightly connected with the country’s history. Kakheti is just a couple of hours’ drive away from Tbilisi and boasts a variety of fancy chateaus as well as a small family- owned vineyards perfectly tailored for every taste and budget.

After arrival to the spot, we take a walk through the fortified town of Sighnaghi, explore stunning views and taste local wines at a winery. Experience the flavor of the traditional cuisine at a farmer’s house with home-made dishes, whereas you can fully indulge yourself into the unique live “like-local” atmosphere.

You will see how Georgian sweet “Churchkhela” (walnuts coated in grape juice and flour) is made and Georgian bread “Shoti” is baked. During this tour you will be able to fully step into the history, culture and delicious cuisine.
