Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at the airport, a representative from Zepisa African Safari will be there to greet you and transport you to your accommodation in Arusha. Take this day to relax and prepare yourself for the incredible safari adventure that awaits you.

2
Stop 2

After a delicious breakfast at your accommodation, your knowledgeable guide from Zepisa African Safaris will pick you up for the start of your safari journey. Today, we will drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source for wildlife during the dry season. Get ready to witness the majestic elephant families, giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest that roam this park. Keep your eyes peeled for predators like lions and leopards, as well as a plethora of bird species. The ancient baobab trees will leave you in awe. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch inside the park and then head to your accommodation in Karatu.

3

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Marvel at the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater along the way. As you enter the Serengeti National Park, be prepared to be amazed by its vast open grasslands, teeming with abundant wildlife. If your visit coincides with the annual migration, you will witness a natural wonder as thousands of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope traverse the plains in search of water and fresh grazing. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscapes before settling into your accommodation in Central Serengeti for the night.

4

Immerse yourself in the Serengeti’s wonders with a full day of game drives. Encounter a wide array of wildlife, from graceful impalas and powerful buffalos to crocodiles and hippos. The Serengeti is also home to the iconic big cats – lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Be prepared to have your breath taken away by these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. You can choose to have an early morning and late afternoon game drive, returning to camp for lunch, or opt for a full-day excursion with a picnic lunch in the park. Whatever you choose, this day will leave a lasting impression.

5
Stop 5

After breakfast, continue your adventure as you journey towards the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, you will be enthralled by more spectacular scenery. Descend into the crater, where you will encounter an abundance of wildlife in its pristine wilderness—spot herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. The Ngorongoro Crater is also your best chance to catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino. The drive down and up the crater walls is an adventure in itself. After spending a full afternoon exploring, return to your accommodation in Karatu for a well-deserved rest.
