Detailed itinerary

1

Westfalenpark is a 70-hectare park in Dortmund.
The park was opened for the first of the three federal garden shows there. On the site of the old Kaiser Wilhelm Grove, the Buschmühlenpark, a landfill site and overgrown allotments, a park was created with the Florianturm, Germany's tallest building at the time at 220 meters, as its centerpiece.

2

Phoenix see is an artificial lake of about 24 hectares on the former steelworks site Phoenix-Ost in Dortmund's Hörde district. It was and is discussed as a showcase project for the structural transformation of the city of Dortmund and the Ruhr region.

3

The Dortmunder U, also known as the U Tower, is a high-rise building erected in 1926/1927 as the "fermentation and storage cellar" of the Dortmunder Union Brewery on the western edge of Dortmund City. The name is derived from the brewery's logo, which was applied to the main tower in 1968 and completely restored in 2008: a four-sided, nine-meter-high, gilded and illuminated "U" designed by architect Ernst Neufert. Nowadays it is the Dortmund center for art and creativity

4

The Botanical Garden Rombergpark in Dortmund-Brünninghausen is a botanical garden of the city of Dortmund, whose special features are its arboretums, and its collections of woody plants.
