Love Waterfall is situated approximately 14 km southwest of Sapa town in San Sa Ho Commune, Lao Cai province.
The Love Waterfall Sapa is not only known for its stunning landscape but also for its romantic love story. Legend has it that a long time ago, heavenly fairies used to bathe in the waterfall. One fateful day, a young boy playing his flute near the falls caught the attention of a seventh fairy, who became captivated by his melodies.
She would spend every night listening to his music, but when her parents discovered her secret, they forbade her from returning to the waterfall. Despite being unable to see or hear her beloved, she would stand in the arch every afternoon, hoping to catch a glimpse of him and hear his melodies. Overwhelmed with sadness, she eventually transformed herself into a bird and flew around the peak of the mountain so she could be with her love forever. And so, the Love Waterfall got its name.
Stop at Tram ton (Hoang Lien National park station) You can take a short walk around 2km following the Golden Stream and see the love waterfall located in Hoang Lien forest. Where you will be amazed by the breathtaking view of mountain surroundings including Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina and you will get the chance to listen the bird here singing.
The guide will take you ride down to Muong Hoa valley with many different villages such as: Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai , Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai, Hau Thao And Su Pan. This is also one of the most beautiful valley in the northwest VietNam, you will drive through the terraces fields, villages of 3 ethnic minority groups and visit the most beautiful terraced fields in sapa, will have a lunch in Lao Chai village of the black h'mong people, after that, there will be about 30 minutes to visit the house of the Hmong, listen to the guide introducing the customs, and culture here.
