Stop 1

On this trip we want to show you a bit of everything: traditional villages, churches, mountains, gorges and beaches. The first stop is at Kournas, the only fresh water lake on Crete. A drive through the country side takes us to the village Argyroupoli where a short round walk will take you through various periods of Cretan history to end up in the present again while enjoying a coffee or a juice. During the drive that follows you will notice changes in the scenery as we are approaching the south coast.
