Standing high above the Mediterranean, Peñíscola Castle has played an important role in history. Built by the Knights Templar, it later became the residence of Pope Benedict XIII, one of the most controversial popes of the Middle Ages. As we explore the castle, I’ll share some of the stories and events that made this place so unique.
We will stop for a nice lunch by the beach or in the old town.
After some time for photos or shopping, we will return to Valencia.
