About this experience

Experience the Isle of Skye in complete luxury in our top of the range Mercedes-Benz V Class 7 seater, comfortable leather seats, dual zone air conditioning, complimentary bottled water.

We take you to the main attractions however we can change the tour to suit your interests as long as we have the time in the day we can accommodate it for you.

You have the choice of the West Coast of Skye or the East Coast it is up to you, this is your tour and you take the tour how you would like it within reason. We have various places we stop whilst on tour for lunches, coffee etc depending on what part of Skye you would like to visit, this is a bespoke tour for you.

We can also visit the not so well known places on Skye, time permitting.

The listed itinerary for this tour can differ depending on what you would like to see and how long we spend at each site. Other destinations on Skye are also available but the tour can be adjusted to suit your requirements which can be discussed once booked.

Detailed itinerary

As we leave Inverness you will drive down the world famous Lochness and stop at the famous Urquhart Castle to take in the breath-taking views of Lochness before heading off on our route to the Isle of Skye with various other absolutely amazing views on the way, the further west we go the better it gets, this is just the tip of the ice berg so tot speak!

As we drive down Glen Moriston we will come to Loch Cluanie a spectacular man made loch with views towards the 5 sisters of Kintail. The we make our way down the amazing Glen Shiel towards Eilean Donan Castle

As we wind our way down the amazing Glen Shiel we will take in the breath-taking views of the glen whilst we tell you about the battle of Glen Shiel which took place here in 1719, a not so well known battle however a very significant battle in the Highlands History.

Stop 4

Here we stop at the world famous Eilean Donan Castle one of the most photographed castles in Scotland, sitting on a wee island where Loch Alsh, Loch Duich and Loch Long meet, here you can walk over the bridge to the castle and walk around inside the castle if you wish, there are 2 different charges for walking just the bridge or the bridge and the interior of the castle. After spending around an hour here we will make our way to the Isle of Skye.

We shall stop here at Sligachan Old Bridge to see the fantastic views over to the Red and Black Cuillin hills. Here you can also see the amazing Mackenzie Collie Bronze statue. This is the river where you can get yourself eternal youth! ;-)

Here we stop in Portree for lunch and take in the wonderful wee village and the pretty harbour designed and engineered by the famous Engineer Thomas Telford.

Stop 7

Stopping off at this magical place, it is like the Fairies once lived here in this weird and bizarre landscape, now roamed by local sheep! :-)

Dropping Down into Uig for a break and a stop at the Uig Beer Brewery.

This could be the best view on Skye looking over this amazing prehistoric landscape where the dinosaurs once roamed.

Stop 10

Take in the views over the sea at Kilt Rock and spot the whales and dolphins at certain times of the day.

Take a walk to the viewpoint at Lealt Falls to see breathtaking views over to the West Coast of the mainland.

Stop 12

We can hike up to the Old man of Storr upon request, if we do we will need at least 2 hours, which includes a 1 hour hike to the Storr itself, with some time up there and time to get back down again.

Stopping off for a break on the way back off the island for toilets and coffee and gift shop.

As we come down into this beautiful wee village of Plockton a Victorian fishing village awaits, with views over to Duncraig castle and you can even see Palm trees growing here.

A stunning viewpoint looking over Loch Carron to the village of Lochcarron.

Stopping off for toilets and afternoon tea at the beautiful Ledgowan Lodge Hotel a stunning Victorian Hunting Lodge now a hotel.

Stop 17

Swinging into Rogie Falls where we walk the track to take you to an old suspension bridge to see the Salmon leaping from July till September.
