Visit Nizwa Souq which is one of the most famous markets in Oman. The main product sold here is the clay products that are hand made.
Visit Nizwa fort which has been strategically built atop a hill overlooking the ancient villages with its colourful domes and bustling market below.
Drive to visit the Jabal Akhdar, or Green Mountain in Arabic (2800 meter above sea level). The trip is a 4WD ride up to the precarious mountain side. You may trek here, if you like.
Next stop is Wadi Bani Habib, the most beautiful dried up river bed which stretches about 20-30 km. The wadi skirts beautiful villages with their terrace farming fields. The trekking here is good.
Then, proceed on to the peak of the green mountain, where you may enjoy the breath-taking view from the top. We will also stop at the Jabal Akhdar hotel for tea or Omani coffee and some light
refreshments (optional). Refreshment bill is not included.
