07:30 AM: Upon arrival at Cai Be, your cruise will start with the Cai Be cruise, the remaining site of a wholesale floating market on the Tien River, which was once famous many years ago where you can see the relics of the old floating market, and chill on the river while listening to our tour guide tell you the stories of Cai Be market's old stories.
Take a leisurely walk through small villages to explore the local workshops where you will have the chance to hands – on experience in making coconut fudges and crispy rice popcorn. While enjoying the fresh fruit, you will enjoy Don Ca Tai Tu - a distinctive form of Southern Vietnamese folk music recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Take a sampan ride through small canals to enjoy the stunning scenery and the peaceful atmosphere. You will get the chance to observe traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and witness some activities of the local farmers.
At lunch time, you not only enjoy luscious food but also get closer to the locals as it is a chance to learn how to prepare Vietnamese specialties. The meal is cooked on your own and served in the heart of the local garden.
Cycle on the village path through orchards. Meet the local islanders to learn more about the local daily life in the Mekong Delta. Visit Ba Kiệt’s ancient house one of the most beautiful ancient houses in the south of Vietnam.
At the end of the day, your boat will take you to a floating village to see how people farm catfish under the houses before your tour concludes.
