Perast – 30 minutes free time
After the island, we continue to the baroque town of Perast, once one of the richest maritime towns on the Adriatic.
You’ll have 30 minutes of free time to:
• walk along the elegant seaside promenade
• admire Venetian palaces and noble stone houses
• visit St. Nicholas Church and its bell tower
• OR just… enjoy a coffee or drink by the water with a perfect view of the islands
Perast is small, romantic, and timeless — a place where history, sea and silence meet.
⛪ Stop at Our Lady of the Rocks – 20 minutes
Our first stop is the famous artificial island Gospa od Škrpjela (Our Lady of the Rocks) — one of the most important symbols of Montenegro.
Here you’ll have about 20 minutes to explore:
• the beautiful 17th-century church
• the small museum with original paintings, silver votive plates and maritime relics
• the peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views over the bay
According to legend, the island was created stone by stone by local sailors after discovering an icon of the Virgin Mary on a rock in the sea — a tradition that continues even today.
We kindly recommend arriving a bit earlier, especially during busy hours. Once you enter Park Slobode, Dejana-Speed Boat Tours Magellan will meet you and guide you to the boat where your tour will begin.
