Meet your local guide at 08:00am from the set meeting point. Walk around the narrow streets with a professional guide and relive the explosion of the 79 ad that petrified and hidden the city for years. Trekk up to the top of the crater’s edge of the Volcano Vesuvius and admire the stunning Gulf of Naples from a unique perspective.
Our guide will lead you into a guided walking tour of the ruins bringing back to life the lifestyle and architecture of the prosperous Romans. Pompeii is well preserved thanks to the mud and lapilli which petrified the city saving all the infrastructures.
In the second part of the tour the bus will drop you off at 1.000 mt high; from there you can climb till the crater’s edge.

• Please wear comfortable and non slippery shoes. The surface on the Volcano Vesuvius is uneven. The trek from 1.00 th high to 1.280 mt high is up to you
• Wear a hat to protect yourself from the sun
• It is imperative to arrive promptly at the meeting point, at least 10 minutes prior to departure time. Late arrivals will not be eligible for a refund
