Stop 1

Duolun Road is a small street in Shanghai. Although it is only 550 meters long, there are more than 20 buildings along the street with distinctive features and profound historical value. Its style includes English, French, Japanese, Dutch, Spanish, Islamic, Chinese and western, etc. it has become an "open-air museum" of Shanghai style buildings. In addition to the ruins of the former residence of celebrities, there are many small private collection museums on Duolun Road. Including the chopsticks Museum, the largest ancient coins exhibition hall in Asia, Nanjing Bell Museum, culture and stone collection hall, and other private collections include: Book and ticket collection hall, newspaper collection hall, ancient ceramics collection hall, etc., and the plaques for these stores are almost all cultural celebrities. This small road is full of the bits and pieces of firewood, rice, oil and salt in life. Everything is a reflection of the life of Shanghai citizens. Therefore, no one would think of the difference between this road and other roads in Shanghai when passing through Sichuan North Road. It's too inconspicuous. Of course, no one would think of how thick the history of this road is and how deep the cultural history accumulation is.

1933 millfun adopts the concrete structure imported from England, the wall is about 50 centimeters thick, and the middle of the two walls is hollow. In 1930s, the advanced technology is used to realize the temperature control by using the physical principle skillfully. Even in the hot summer, it can still keep a lower temperature. So the foresight and advanced design of the building is visible at that time. The architecture integrates the eastern and western characteristics. The overall architecture can be seen in the style of the Brazilian style of ancient Rome, and the basic structure of the outer and inner circle also implies the traditional concept of "heaven and place" in the geomancy theory of China. "No beam floor", "umbrella column", "corridor bridge", "spiral staircase", "NiuDao" and many other characteristic buildings are integrated, and the infinite changes of light, shadow and space present a unique architectural work. Different seasons, different times, different angles, you can always appreciate the different customs of 1933 millfun. The whole building style is simple and unadorned. Only by careful observation can we feel the original designer's ingenuity from its seemingly inadvertent fine decoration details. Such a smooth production process, precise housing structure and excellent architectural design, appeared in Shanghai nearly a hundred years ago, which is a pioneer. Even at that time, there were only three slaughterhouses of this size in the world, and 1933 millfun was the only existing intact building, and there was no way to find any other.

Lu Xun Park is the main historical and cultural Memorial Park in Shanghai and the first sports park in China. There are mountains, waters and waterfalls. Mountains and rivers are connected by dikes and bridges. The scenery is beautiful. On the whole, it retains the characteristics of British scenic spots. The exhibits in Lu Xun's memorial mainly show Lu Xun's social activities and cultural life in Shanghai for 10 years. Lu Xun's tomb is a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Shanghai French concession is the largest and best developed one among the four concessions in old China. The French Concession reached its peak in the 1930s. French Concession maintained a high degree of independence in the old Shanghai. The whole French concession is the most advanced residential area in the old Shanghai. The architectural style can be said to be uniform. It is also because it was first introduced into China by the French and planted in the French concession in Shanghai. Shanghai, as the "Paris of the East", is also named after the French concession, because its architectural style is independent of the public concession and the Chinese concession, and almost the same as Paris.
