The Ludus Magnus, renowned as Rome's premier gladiatorial school, was established by Emperor Domitian in close proximity to the Colosseum, featuring a tunnel that linked it to the underground passages of the arena. Today, archaeological findings reveal less than half of the original practice arena and barracks, with much of the structure still concealed beneath the modern street level and adjacent buildings, highlighting not only its historical significance but also the layers of urban development in Rome.

Via dei Fori Imperiali is a famous street in Rome that runs through the heart of the city, offering stunning views of some of Rome's most iconic ancient ruins. Along this historic street, you can see the imposing facades of Trajan's Forum, Caesar's Forum, and Augustus' Forum, as well as the remnants of other ancient structures. The road also provides a great vantage point to admire the nearby Colosseum, one of Rome's most recognizable landmarks, and the Palatine Hill, the birthplace of the city of Rome.

Pietre d'Inciampo, or Stolpersteine, is a poignant memorial created by German artist Gunter Demnig to honor the victims of Nazi extermination and persecution. These brass memorial plaques, embedded in sidewalks outside the homes of victims, serve as a reminder of the individuals—ranging from Jewish victims to political dissidents and even Italian soldiers forcibly deported to Germany—who suffered under the Nazi regime. Each stone tells a personal story, fostering remembrance and reflection in public spaces.
