Detailed itinerary

10:30 AM – Departure from San Ignacio, Belize.
Drive 30 minutes to the Belize–Guatemala border.

Border Crossing – Immigration and customs procedures take 15–30 minutes depending on season.

Continue with a 1 hour 45 minute to 2 hour drive to Tikal National Park, with a lunch stop at a local restaurant along the way.

Enjoy an approximately 4-hour guided tour of Tikal that includes jungle walks, wildlife spotting, and engaging storytelling from your professional guide, while visiting the Great Plaza, Temple I, Temple II, North and Central Acropolis, Temple III, and climbing Temple IV, the tallest pyramid in the park.

The tour concludes at the Mundo Perdido complex to enjoy a sunset over the jungle.

After sunset, walk 30 minutes back to the parking area and begin the return journey to Belize.
