Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

We will start this tour heading to Plaça d'Espanya, where we will take the train to Montserrat and enjoy the Catalonian landscape on our way to Monistrol, located at the bottom of the mountain.

We will take the cable car to climb the mountain and get to the Monastery.

Stop 3

We will visit the Basilica and we will visit the Virgin of Montserrat, known as Black Madonna “La Moreneta”, a woodcarving from the twelfth century, which is the patron saint of Catalonia.

In this tour we will discover this amazing mountain and we will learn about its history.

The pickup is only available in Barcelona city area.
Queues to see the Black Madonna may occur depending on season.
The access to Montserrat will be by the Aeri. The days when the Aeri is closed due to weather, technical reasons, or when tickets are not available, it will be replaced by the cog-wheel train.

• Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
• This tour starts from your hotel/apartment and ends at Plaça d'Espanya.
• Please, inform in advance, in which hotel/apartment you will stay. You can do it directly on your reservation or you can inform us by phone or by mail, indicating your booking reference, preferable maximum 48h before start the tour. If we do not receive the Information at least 24h before departure, we will cancel the tour applying the stipulated cancellation fees.
