Once in Essaouira, you are free to explore the medina and the Portuguese architecture on your own or you can also meet your local guide (Guide not included in the price) for a visit to the Skala du Port and the bastion at the southeast of the medina. Walk through the labyrinthine streets of the medina listening to traditional Gnaoua Muic music at every corner. Watch artisans at work, making handicrafts from cedar wood.
After lunch you will have free time to stroll along the beach before your transfer to Marrakech.
En route, stop at an argan oil cooperative to see how Berber ladies process traditional argan oil, locally known as “liquid gold.”
