We travel through Arctic landscapes to the North Cape plateau, where your local and knowledgeable driverguide will share insights and local stories along the way. Enjoy the visit inside the North Cape Hall and take time to absorb the dramatic views from the edge of Europe.
On our return, we visit a Sámi Siida near Skarsvåg,, where the Somby family welcomes you personally into their traditions.
Step inside their lávvu, taste reindeer meat and Sámi cake (sweet bread), learn about their 8 seasons as reindeer herders, discover how the traditional joik originates from nature and emotion. You’ll also get to try lasso throwing, a cherished Sámi skill.
A truely heartfelt meeting with the indigenous who generously share their culture and way of life.

Next to the Tourist Information, in the cruise port of Honningsvåg, please look for a purple "Meeting Point" sign. Or look for a dark blue minivan with the signs "North Cape & Sámi Adventure" & "#150". the VAN will be parked close up to the Tourist Information as well.
