We embark on a beautiful day in Cape Town exploring the top attractions along the Cape Peninsula in Cape Town on our Table Mountain, Penguins and Cape of Good Hope small group tour. Pick up will be at your accommodation in Cape Town between 7:30 and 8:30am. After pick up we will travel to Table Mountain Cableway Station.
Our first stop will be at Table Mountain cableway station to take the Cable Car to the top of the mountain. Upon reaching the mountain top you will have the opportunity to explore for approximately 30 to 60 minutes. Thereafter you will return to the bottom of the mountain to meet your guide for your next attraction.
From Table Mountain, we will travel along the coastline to Camps Bay where we will stop at Maiden's Cove. Here we will have a photo opportunity with Camp's Bay beach and the Twelve Apostles mountains in the background.
We continue past the Atlantic Seaboard through Clifton, Camp's Bay and Llandudno to the home of the Seals called Hout Bay. Here you will have the option to take a boat cruise to Seal Island to view the Seal Colony. (Please note that we will note disembark at Seal Island but view the seals from the boat.) We will spend approximately 1-hour here.
Our tour continues along the coastline and stop at Chapman's Peak viewpoint. Chapman's peak is known as one of the most scenic routes in the world. Here we will stop for approximately 20 minutes for photos.
Our next stop will be at Cape Point Vineyards for a wine tasting of some of the best Sauvignon Blanc produced in South Africa. Ask for a tasting of their award-winning wine called Isliedh (a Blend: 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Sémillon).
Our tour proceeds through Simon's Town to Boulder's Beach where we will visit the Boulders Penguins Colony. Here you can take a walk along the boardwalk and view the African Penguins. Boulder's beach is home to approximately 2500 African Penguins.
Our tour culminates with the highlight of the day, a guided tour of the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. Here we will spend approximately 2 hours exploring the Diaz and Da Gama crosses and take a short hike up to the Cape Point lighthouse. Alternative you may use the Funicular to get to the lighthouse. Remember to take your iconic photo behind the Cape of Good Hope nameboard.
At the end of this exciting tour we will return to Cape Town for drop off at your accommodation. Drop off will be between 17:00 and 18:00pm.
