Stockholm to stop one. Depart from the your centrally located Stockholm hotel in a comfortable car or minivan depending on the size of the group. Travel north into the picturesque Swedish countryside. Feel how you start to move back in time as you sweep through the lovely landscape. Ca 30min to stop one.
Visit Broby Bro, a well excavated Viking grave field. Learn about how the Vikings buried their dead and what happened to them in the afterlife. Hear the story about Estrid, a aristocratic Viking woman in the Stockholm region.
Next up is Jarlabankes rune stone bridge in Täby. Hear the intriguing tale about Jarlabanke, the great Viking lord who was a super-magnate. Learn about the Viking bridges and roads that tied Sweden and laid the foundation to our nation.
Next, visit a Viking parliament and feel the presence of ancient power, imagine the Viking men sitting in the parliament making mighty decisions.
Last but not least, head to Sigtuna. This is Sweden's oldest city, founded in 970 AD by King Erik Segersäll of the Svea Kingdom. Learn about its role in our history as we walk the Viking age-originated main street with its prettty 18th century houses.

Things good to think of are presented here below
• Bring good shoes. Have trainers, boots or something similar. Street walking shoes are also fine. No sandals or other shoes that does not cover your foot.
• Pick up for your tour will be at your hotel or the cruise port (not Nynäshamn but the others) where you arrive. Hotel pick up are only for the guests who are staying in Central Stockholm (within 3 kilometers away from the Stockholm Central Station). IF you don't stay here you're welcome to a pick up point or to one of our other guest's hotel.
* Please us contact at info@swedenhistorytours.se to inform us about your hotel stay if you have not already put it into your booking, we will email or text you a pick up time 1-2 days before the tour.
• If a child in your reservation is less than 5 years old, please contact us prior to the booking so we can prepare a child seat/booster seat.

• If you have not already specified, you MUST advise supplier as soon as possible your Ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and departure time so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
• Travellers are not allowed carry-on-luggage in the tour vechicle. A back-pack or hand bag works fine though.
