On this walking food tour, we’ll taste some delicious Moroccan food, visit local markets full of different types of fresh and colourful food, oils, olives and spices.
We will visit many selected popular locations to taste the best Moroccan traditional dishes.
We’ll start our tour at place 9 Avril, also famous as the Grand Socco, we’ll wander Tangier Medina (old town) and enjoy beautiful narrow streets, vibrant Souks (markets) and rich multicultural history, this is the moving heart of the city offering a captivating walking and tasting experience. Here you can find a wide array of souvenirs, handmade ceramics, leather, textiles and of course plenty of fresh Tasty Food and Spices.
We’ll pass by a beautiful little market very famous for wedding gifts, full of nuts, chocolate and dates besides other symbolic gifts.
On the way to the petit Socco we’ll visit the daily food market, this is the main food market of the city, all main restaurants hotels, and locals have their fresh food from here
We’ll wander around some hidden corners to taste the best local Moroccan food, hot, cold, sweet, salty grilled, fried, spicy but very flavourful..
