The Jordán Hot Springs is a unique place, as it has natural turquoise pools, where you can bathe in its healing waters in the middle of the Jujuy jungle! To get to them, you walk for 2 hours along a jungle path where you can see the native fauna and flora of the Yungas area. Once arrived, you can soak in the hot springs. The return trek is uphill, it returns slowly. An unforgettable experience that must be lived!
The tour lasts 7 hours max in total. The walk begins in the town of San Francisco, the path that we will make belongs to the aborigines of this town, which gives me the approval to pass through their lands, we begin to descend 700 meters in 2 hours along a jungle path where we can see animals as the monkey fell, squirrels and acuti, then we arrive at a viewpoint of the thermal baths where you can see how these waters arise at the foot of a mountain, then come to the place you can bathe in these turquoise waters and relax. Since it contains many minerals pj sulfur, we recommend being 1 hour in the water. Then we had a light lunch in a campsite near the thermal baths. On the way back the climb gets a little steep, so we go back a little slower, it takes 2 hours and 30 hours to return.
This monument is located in the center of the town of San Francisco, on the stairs of the monument we will find ourselves.
