Very spiritual place. You can worship peacefully here. Environment is pretty pleasing.The Museum of wall Painting of the Central Cultural Fund is located in the Rangiri Dambulla Raja Maha Vihara premises and tour also includes tickets to the musium.

A must-see for anyone interested in the prehistoric period. One of the very few pre-Buddhism sights in Sri Lanka. The remains give you a glimpse into the past many thousands of years ago. When walking towards the tombs the corridor is lined with photos of some of the discoveries - clay pots and beads - don't ignore those, not every day you get a chance to see something made hundreds of generations before.
