About this experience

Our activity begins in a traditional house at a small village. A welcome drink will give us energy for the rest of the day. A small workshop on how to identify herbs and learn about their curative properties together with an interactive tasting game will get us acquainted with Cretan herbs. After that it is time to put our aprons on and begin to cook. We will master the art of preparing pesto with fresh herbs from the family’s garden and participate in the preparation of traditional appetizers and salads based on vegetables and herbs. Our creations from the workshop will fill in our veggie’s menu. This traditional Cretan meal is accompanied by Cretan wine. We end our experience trying Cretan sweets and drinking homemade Cretan raki.
