Nishiki Market is the traditional food market located in the downtown area in Kyoto. We will stop by 2-3 family owned shops to try sample-size food that represents the food culture and history in Kyoto.
We will visit 2-3 restaurants to try Kyoto style food ranging from Obanzai (Kyoto style cuisine) to local izakaya dishes.
We will walk through the Pontocho District which is a mini geisha district where we will learn the history of Kyoto and the geisha culture.

The tour starts at 5pm on the dot. If you miss the 5pm meet-up, please join the group at the first sit-down restaurant which we send you about a week before the tour date.
