Your journey progresses on the historic Sheikh Zayed Road named after the founder and then president of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Known to be the longest road in the UAE, construction for Sheikh Zayed Road began in 1971. The highway was completed in 1980.

Absolute Beauty. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the world's 8th largest mosque and a massive architectural work of art that intentionally blends different Islamic architectural schools. It features 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, 24-carat-gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand-knitted carpet.
