Visit Taikang Wet Market where the locals shop for their groceries. You’ll notice that the markets in Shanghai have a lot of ingredients which aren’t used outside of China, and your guide will help you explain what everything is.

Tianzifang, which used to be industrial area, is now a fashion landmark with many lanes. You can walk through the old alleys to see what the folk houses looked like in early 20th century Shanghai with dormer windows, red tiles, green moss on the walls, and so on. Moreover, losts of restaurants and fashion boutiques can be found here, making it a nice place to enjoy delicious food and shopping.

Walk across Jianguo Road to Fuxing Park. Fuxing Park is located on Yandang Road in Shanghai and covers 92,000 square meters. Soak in the bustle of this pedestrianized street, a microcosm of modern China, take a stroll to peruse the stores and purchase souvenirs.

Visit a paper-thin building. The building was once reported by British Daily Mail, stated as perhaps the world's flattest and thinnest building. Standing in the front of the building at 30°it just looks like a piece of paper. The old house had four floors and still has a large number of residents.

The Bund is the famous waterfront on the west bank of the Huangpu River and is regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction. We will see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles at the Bund.

The Huangpu River divides two iconic but different Shanghai sights: high modern buildings in the Pudong area and 26 various buildings of different architectural styles on the west side. We will take a traditional ferry and enjoy beautiful scenery on both sides of the river including the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Jin Mao Tower.
