Detailed itinerary

It is said that this post office was built in the year 1894 by the British rulers during the colonial period of Sri Lanka. The building is constructed entirely of red brick in the late 1990s Victorian architectural style. The clock tower designed in relation to the building is particularly prominent here.

In the year 2012, the upper floor of this post office was developed as a tourist accommodation at a cost of 5.4 million rupees.

Victoria Park is a public park located in Nuwara Eliya, next to the Nuwara Eliya Post Office in Sri Lanka.

Originally the park was the research field of Hakgala Botanical Garden. The park was formally named in 1897 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The park was established with the planting of its first tree, an Oak, by a visiting German Princess. The Nanu Oya runs through the park, creating a number of small lakes. A number of rare bird species can be found in the park. At the far end of the park is a small children's playground and miniature ridable railway.

This Holy Trinity church, whose construction took place for 10 years and completed in 1843, it was officially declared open on 24th February 1852.

The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club is one of the oldest Golf Clubs in Sri Lanka. Established in the late 19th century, it is located in the hill station of Nuwara Eliya. It is an 18-hole golf course.

Seetha Amman Temple, or Seetha Eliya Seethai Amman Thirukkovil, also known as Ashok Vatika Sita Temple, is an ancient Vaishnavite Hindu temple located in the Nuwara Eliya District of Central Sri Lanka. The temple's folklore is deeply connected to the Hindu epic, the Ramayana.

Freshly picked Strawberries are available at many outlets and cafes that serve Strawberry drinks, Ice cream pancakes etc. and very moderating priced. Grown at Ambewela Farm. Adam Agro, Rose Garden and many other farms located in Nuwara Eliya.

Ambewela Farm is the country’s main milk product supplier. Located in a small town named Ambewela on top of the hills about seventeen kilometers away from Nuwara Eliya. Ambewela is known for its cool climate, the temperature stays below 17 celsius throughout the year. The area is known as the widest grassland in Sri Lanka, and a perfect bird watching location.

Lake Gregory sometimes also called Gregory Lake or Gregory Reservoir, is a reservoir in the heart of the tea country hill city of Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka. Lake Gregory was created during the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873. The lake and the surrounding area make up the Gregory Lake Area.
