About this experience

Have you always dreamed of seeing—and photographing—the northern lights? The Lofoten Islands, with their dramatic landscapes and dark winter skies, are the perfect place. Join our experienced guide for a 4-hour adventure in search of the aurora. We don’t visit the same spot every night—your guide tracks the weather to find the clearest skies for the best chance to see the lights. Learn fascinating stories about the aurora and its role in local culture, science, and history. A photographer will show you how to capture the lights on camera or phone, use a tripod, and frame your shots. Dress warmly in layers, and bring shoes, thermals, and gloves. All photos from the tour will be sent to you, free of charge.
