• We will visit the Fantiscritti quarry, also known as the “Michelangelo Quarry,” where a Jeep will take us both inside the active marble quarry and above the quarry area, offering spectacular views over the marble mountains. A knowledgeable local guide will unveil the secrets of Carrara’s world-famous marble, show you the traditional and modern techniques of marble cutting, and lead you through the fascinating museum hall carved directly into the mountain.
