A great option to have a shore excursion for a short time, not so far from the port, with a deep introduction to the most important economical activity in Guatemala sugar cane production. Beautiful landscape and countryside sourranded with volcanos. The mayan town "La Democracia" just one hour driving from cruise terminal holds the best collection of huge carved stones from preclassic period that are call the Guardians of time.
