The bus departs, beginning the 1-Day Can Gio Monkey Island Tour, featuring exciting and fascinating destinations.The bus departs and heads northwest through District 1 toward the Cu Chi Tunnels, a legendary historical site located about 70 km from downtown Ho Chi Minh City

9:00: After about a 2-hour drive, you’ll arrive at Ben Dinh Tunnels, once the base of the Cu Chi District Party Committee during the Vietnam War.
9:15 AM:In the screening area, your guide will introduce the structure of the underground tunnel network using a cross-sectional diagram.

9:30 AM: Continue exploring the Ben Dinh area, taking photos at key spots like hidden tunnel entrances, camouflaged spike traps, termite mound-shaped air vents, trenches, bunkers, and sentry posts.
Continue to the National Defense Shooting Range, where you can challenge yourself with live bullet shooting—an exhilarating and memorable activity.
Visit the Rubber Sandal Workshop, where you’ll see how soldiers crafted their famous "Ho Chi Minh sandals" from old tires. You can also purchase a pair as a unique souvenir.
A final stop brings you to the B52 Bomb Crater, a lasting scar of war in the Cu Chi countryside.
The tour wraps up at the Hoang Cam Kitchen, an ingenious cooking system that hid smoke to avoid enemy detection. After the tour, enjoy a short rest and a taste of boiled cassava with peanut salt—a staple dish for guerrilla fighters, now a local delicacy.

Next, relax on a traditional rowboat ride through peaceful canals lined with water coconut trees.
Continue by boat to a coconut candy workshop, where you can watch the candy-making process, taste local sweets, enjoy seasonal fruits, and listen to Southern folk music.
Wrap up the island visit with a scenic ride through Quoi Son village by horse cart or a vintage lam tricycle, passing lush orchards and local homes.
