About this experience

The 24th Winter Olympic Games will be held in 2022. Some of its snow sports will be hosted in the 5 venues in Chongli, Zhangjiakou. Thaiwoo Ski Resort is one of the best Ski Resorts for families travelling with small children and teenagers. 3-night accommodation and private transfer to and from the ski resort are included.

What you'll see

Thaiwoo Ski Resort is located on Yushiliang Mountain in Chongli, 86km east of Zhangjiakou.

The altitude here is 2,160m, with vertical drop of 510m has 28 ski trails in an area of 400 hectares. It has trails for all levels of skiers, including a comprehensive beginner ski centre; perfect for children to join its Winter Camps. It also hosts a couple of festivals such as the Thaiwoo FIS Freestyle Ski Moguls World Cup as well as other events.

How to get there:
By train:
Please take a taxi by yourself to Beijing North Railway Station. You need to use your passport to redeem train ticket from ticketing office. So please arrive at the station at least 40 minute in advance.
Train ticket from Beijing to Chongli is indluded: G8811 (0830/0934)
After taking 50-minute bullet train from Beijing North Station, you will be picked up from Zhangjiakou Taizicheng Railway Station. Round trip transfer to and from Thaiwoo Ski Resort is included.

By air:
Your driver will hold a name sign, wait at the exit from where you will come out.
Airfare is not included.

Accommodation
The package is inlusive of 3-night accommodation (2 beds or 1 double bed) with daily breakfast. The check-in time is 14:00. The check-out time is 12:00. 3 different accommodation options are available to choose.

(1) Day 1: Pickup
Your driver will hold a name sign, wait at the exit from where you will show up.

(2) Day 2: Free time
Here in Thaiwoo, the Super PoloCat Snowmakers, the advanced automatic snowmaking system, chairlifts/gondolas, magic carpets (moving belts which pull the passengers uphill) and professoinal patrol team make Thaiwoo to be a high world class ski resort. You can enjoy ski jumping, freestyle skiing, snowboard, cross country skiing, etc.

(3) Day 2: Free time
You can engage in more activities such as spa, golfing, horse riding, cycling, hiking and swimming.

(4) Depart
Pickup from hotel lobby at your preferred time. This is a private transfer.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Adult price is based on twin share of a hotel room, child price is based on sharing adult's bed. Please notice the hotel allows only maximum of 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children) in one room. Usually you do not need to add an extra bed for child. You can also tell the front desk on site if you like to pay for an extra bed when necessary. If you need to book for the 3rd adult, please book a new room.
Rates are not available for special holidays include: New Year Holiday (from 27 Dec to 31 Dec) and Chinese New Year Holidays (3 days before and 5 days after Chinese New Year's Day) .
You can buy this package only when the credit card used and passport holder is the same person. It means you can buy this package for you and your family, but you need to travel with them to Shanghai. The local travel agent will ask you to send photo of your passport page by email and reserve hotel room. If the orginal credit card holder does not show up, the hotel will refuse you to check in. No refund if it happens. Fraudulent use of credit card will be reported to police immediately.
