Starting from the old harbor of Chania, this half day trip offers you an incredible experience whether it´s during the morning or the afternoon!
Our first stop is Theodorou island, which is a protected haven for the endangered wild Cretan goat “agrími” (or easier, “kri-kri”). The island is uninhabited and is also a Natura 2000 protected area.
After we circle the whole island, we head to the small island of Lazaretta which is located close to the shore of Néa Chóra. Lazaretta offers us great opportunities for snorkeling to the rock-pools that are close to the small, sandy beaches.
If we're lucky, we might see some octopus close by!
We stop at Macherida bay for our last swim in the beautiful and easily accessible sandy beach, where we can check the stunning views of the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) before we head back to Chania harbor.
