About this experience

On this tour, we will start our journey from Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta is located in the center of Java Island. In Yogyakarta, you can visit the real Javanese Culture which you can see from the local people here and also the places that you will visit. Prambanan Temple, Sultan Palace, Malioboro Street, Kali Adem in Mount Merapi, and also the neighborhood of Borobudur temple located in Magelang Town, it’s 2 hours away from Yogyakarta.

After Yogyakarta, we will invite you to try the executive class of our train from Yogyakarta to Surabaya (4 hours ride). From the window, you can see the rice fields, local villages, and also small towns after Yogyakarta. Surabaya is the capital of East Java, East java hosts the 2 best places to visit during the trip, Mount Bromo, and Ijen Crater.

Important Information for all travellers who are going to book this trip: Every first Friday of the month, Mount Ijen is closed for one day. So, please make sure you check the date of your booking.
Ijen Crater is now open as usual and safe to visit. However, due to natural conditions, the blue fire is temporarily not visible. Please remember to always follow safety guidelines during your visit.
Important News from Borobudur Temple There will be no sunrise tour anymore on the top of the temple and no one is allowed to visit the top of the temple as well. From now on, we can only see the BOROBUDUR TEMPLE at the bottom of the temple and for sunrise, we will go to Setumbu Hill. 

Good news: There is a trial to climb up to the top floor but with special shoes and additional cost for it. it's still not so sure when this trial stops or continues.
