Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel by your professional driver-guide and begin a 1-hour drive from Kampala to Mabamba Swamp.
Upon arrival, you will be joined by a knowledgeable local guide who will lead you on a 2-hour canoe excursion through the dense swamp vegetation in search of the magnificent and elusive Shoebill Stork, as well as other colorful bird species and beautiful butterflies.
You will have excellent opportunities to capture memorable moments as the shoebill hunts for its prey in the swamp waters, while enjoying the soothing melodies of birds and the tranquil sounds of nature.
