The charm of Lake Valencia, the longest lake of Madre de Dios and a neighbor of the border with Bolivia, captivates with its 15 km long and a natural beauty that seems infinite and unimaginable. Around it stands a mosaic of iconic trees such as the Cedar, the imposing Lupuna, the hardy Pumaquiro and the unmistakable Chestnut, all of them of enormous socioeconomic value to the region.

10am starts with a 1 1/2-hour car ride along the Interoceanic Highway and Sweatshirt Road until you reach the brilliant Lake Valencia. During the trip we will observe variety of flora such as the immense chestnut trees and an immense rainforest. The lake has an area of 15KM considered the largest in Tambopata. After a short stroll in Cayac, we will go fishing on the lake that is perfectly complemented by sightings of varied fauna and birds, including sea eagles, herons, huge flocks of flying macaws and the king vulture.
For lunch savor the fish you caught in the lake, served along with other local foods. Finally, if you want you can enjoy the lake by entering it to cool off.
