This is a unique experience off the beaten path in Iceland. The tour is semi private as we only take very few people at a time. Expert paragliding instructors walk you through preparations and safety checks before they take off with you into the air. The paraglider has no motor and uses rising air to glide through the sky like a bird.
You need no prior experience. Relax and enjoy the sights as your pilot controls the paraglider and you soar over lavafields just outside Reykjavik. If you feel like it, take supervised control of the paraglider and learn the basics of free flight or ask your pilot to make some extra in-air adrenaline-filled moves.
Escape the other tourists and experience being a free flying bird alone in Iceland.

A Tandem Paragliding Flight is a legitimate Introductory flight operated by licensed and experienced Paragliding Instructor pilots. Customers will be required to sign a waiver on site, before acitvity. This waiver can be seen on our website under Tour specific Terms & Conditions.
Please bear in mind that a Paragliding Tandem Flight is highly reliable on weather. We always put safety first and if weather does not co-operate we will offer you a re-schedule, an alternative or a full refund. Paragliding weather is not necessarily the same as what non-paragliding pilots call good weather. We rely on micro meteorology and need to take different factors into account, like prevailing wind at height, wind on take-off and landing, wind direction, predicted changes as well as the effects of sun, sea breeze and the landscape. With Iceland being a very small island on the brink of the Arctic Circle weather can change faster than anything you’ve seen before. Please make sure we have your email and phone number and make sure to check for any communication from us before heading out. Should we need to make changes to the schedule due to weather we will strive to let you know as soon as possible.
Should you require our pick up service, please make sure you have provided us with a pick up location in advance. Note that pickup time starts 30 minutes before your booked time. If a customer is not present at the provided pickup location when our driver-guide arrives, the driver-guide is obliged to continue pickup of other customers and start the tour without the missing customer. This is to avoid delay for other customers. In such case, this is considered a NO SHOW and no refund will be issued.
If you are not comfortable with the tour terms we urge you to cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of the start of your tour.
