Early in the morning (around 7:30 am) meeting with our qualified archaeologist guide to start the tour, and pick up from the hotel to start this great and magnificent tour to the first capital of
Egypt; Memphis.
Next, we will visit Memphis, one of the ancient cities and the first capital of Egypt founded in the 31st century BC. There we can see various remains such as: one of the largest statues of King Ramses II, an alabaster sphinx and more statues of the god Ptah.
Transfer from the open-air Museum of Memphis to the necropolis of Dahshour.
The visit of the Dahshour enclosure and visit its two pyramids; the rhomboid pyramid and the red pyramid. Both date from the time of King Senefru; father of King Khufu (Cheops).
