The monastery of San Pedro de Galligans is a former Benedictine abbey located in the Spanish city of Gerona.
Known for its striking red color and iron construction, the Pont de les Peixateries Velles—also called the Iron Bridge or Pont de Eiffel—was built in 1876 by Eiffel’s company. It serves as a symbolic link between Girona’s old town and the newer parts of the city.
Spanning the Onyar River, the bridge connects Calle de Santa Clara and the Mercadal district to Rambla de la Libertad and Calle de la Argenteria.
