Our tour begins through Skagway's historic district where you will have a chance to see what life was like over 110 years ago during the time of the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush. From here we start heading north to the Canadian border and the summit of the White Pass. Photo stops along the way include waterfalls, glaciers, and rivers.
Once we cross the Canadian border we continue north along the scenic Klondike highway eventually crossing into the Yukon Territory. Your driver will provide rich historic commentary as you sit back and enjoy the ride.
Driving north on the Klondike you will experience breathtaking views of glaciers, lush vegetation, wildlife, larger than life lakes, and never ending mountain scapes. We travel roughly 60 miles north to Emerald Lake and make a 30 minute stop in the historic Tagish First Nations Yukon village. Full of historic First Nation's history its hard not to find charm around every corner. Totem poles, First Nation art work, shopping, coffee shop, and White Pass Yukon Route train depot all available to see here. From here we head south to the Yukon Suspension Bridge.
Once we arrive at the Yukon Suspension Bridge your driver will escort you in. Your group will have full access to the property which includes the suspension bridge and all boardwalk trails.
From this location we drive south to Skagway for drop off in town or back at the ship.
The morning of your tour you will receive a welcome text message with your drivers name and where to find them on your dock. You will meet your driver on your dock, just past the security checkpoint. Your driver will be holding our sign with your last name on it.
