Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

The Plaza de Zocodover is a square in the city of Toledo. It was the central hub of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square.

Horses, donkeys, foals, mares, mules and other animals were sold in the square when Toledo was a Spanish-Muslim city

2

The cathedral of Toledo is one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain.
It was begun in 1226 under the rule of Ferdinand III, and the vaults of the central nave were finished during the time of the Catholic Monarchs in 1493.

3
Stop 3

It is the Jewish community of Toledo which became, in the 12th and 13th centuries, the most populous and rich of the Kingdom of Castile.
Coexists for centuries, more or less peacefully, with Muslims and Christians, in which it would be called the city of the three cultures.

4

The protected area comprises the old city center, enclosed by the city wall and the meander formed by the Tagus River. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. The city also has the status of Asset of Cultural Interest, having been declared a historic-artistic monument on March 9, 1940.
