Our guide will meet you at the exit of the Acropoli metro station (Exit "Makriyianni/ Dionysiou Areopagitou") and take you to the entrance of the site. You will pass all the monuments on the Acropolis and on top of the hill you get rewarded with a stunning 360 degrees view over Athens!
Birthplace of ancient greek theater. Learn how theater developed out of the cultus of Dionysos, god of wine. Admire the ancient marble seats with incised names.
Temple of the goddess of victory: Nike. The smallest temple on top of the Acropolis hill. Discover how the victory goddess inspired a famous sport brand.
Monumental entrance gate. Pass through the gate to reach the top of the Acropolis. Admire the huge marble block from up close while passing by.
Biggest temple on the Acropolis hill dedicated to the goddess Athena. Discover that this enormous building does'nt have straight lines and inspired architecture throughout the world.
Temple with the Caryatids, the female columns. Discover what happend to one of the 6 columns and find out where it is nowadays. Listen to the myth about the battle between Athena and Poseidon.
Admire the restored Roman concert hall which was built in AD 161 by wealthy Roman Herodes Atticus in memory of his wife Regilla.
You can still see great artists like Sting or Patti Smith perform during the summer.

1) Please arrive at the meeting point, 10 minutes before the tour starts.
2) We will arrange your entrance fees.
3) Remember to bring valid ID/ passport with date of birth for children, young people under 25 and seniors (65+, EU countries) on the day of the tour because you may have to prove your age & nationality at the entry of the Acropolis site. A clear photo of the document (ID or passport) on your mobile phone is also acceptable.
4) All persons under 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult.
5) Remember to wear comfortable shoes with good tread.
6) Please bring sun/ weather protection and a bottle of water with you.
7) Strollers, wheelchairs and walkers are not suitable for this walking tour. We recommend using a baby carrier if necessary.
8) The elevator is not accessible from the entrance through which you enter the Acropolis.
