Detailed itinerary

1

Wanagiri Hidden Hills in particular is one of the most popular spots on the island for photographs. So is typically pretty crowded with tourists. However, as with anywhere in Bali the best time to visit is always earlier in the morning to beat the crowds. As we mentioned earlier, you can’t miss the bamboo made platforms and photogenic swings when you arrive in the Wanagiri area. They are dotted along the left hand side of the road as you head along the main road that leads in from Bedugul.

2

Banyumala Twin Waterfall is located high in the mountainous region of Bali. Banyumala Twin Falls are becoming quite the hit in the North. With other popular spots such as Gitgit and Sekumpul just a short drive up, Banyumala is an ideal starting point for those staying in Munduk. A slightly difficult trek down, through DIY bamboo trails, it’s certainly worth the effort when you reach the foot of the falls.

3

Tamblingan Lake is located in Munduk, high in the mountainous region of Bali. The higher you go, the colder it gets, however Tamblingan Lake is well worth the ride. Still very untouched and maintained by locals, the lake and its surrounding area are an ideal way to have an afternoon away from the Bali crowds. Cool, fresh weather is hard to find in Bali, however at over 1,100 meters above sea level, Tamblingan Lake makes for the perfect place to relax. We spent over an hour taking photos of the scenic backdrop and enjoying a very ‘different’ side to Bali. In that time we were the only tourists there and saw just a couple of locals fishing.

4

Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist Monastery is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest and was built in 1970 by locals financing of Indonesian and also aids of Thailand government, and its consecrated in 1972. It has been damaged by earthquake in 1976. The new Stupa has been repaired and is decorated with splendidly colorful confection. The temple complex enjoys a wonderful hillside setting such as brilliant orange tile roof stand over an entrance gate guarded by fine two Naga, with bell tower in the corner of middle courtyard.

Stop 5

Banjar Hot Spring is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest located in Banjar Countryside, Banjar sub district and Singaraja Regency. It is about 1,5 Km from Banjar or 24 Km from Singaraja Town. The best time to visit Banjar Hot Spring is in the morning when its still quiet in the pools, the centuries-old hot springs have been upgraded with modern facilities over time, and have become a favorite retreat and recreational site among locals and international visitors. At the springs site entrance, a ticket office is adjacent to a parking space.
