Detailed itinerary

1

Langstrasse is one of the most interesting streets in Zurich. It is a diverse nightlife area and offers culinary delights with many restaurants, bars and clubs. Langstrasse connects the hip urban districts 4 and 5 and has a lot of culture to offer. Many people from all over the world are drawn to this place. A wide variety of people live together here and it can get loud and happy at the weekend.

2

The old barracks area is now a small oasis in the middle of the city and offers space for cozy hours. There is a restaurant and an open-air cafe. Various events and concerts take place in summer.

3

Helvetiaplatz in Stadtkreis 4 is one of the largest squares in Zurich. Weekly markets, concerts and other events take place here. The square also hosts many political events and is a popular starting and ending point for demonstrations. With a drink in the historic Cafe Bank or the Cafe Campo, you can watch the hustle and bustle on the square.

4

The Bluntschibrunnen is located directly on the lake promenade overlooking the Alps. Lake Zurich is particularly beautiful to look at here,

5

Beautiful view of the old town and the landmarks of the city of Zurich. On the bridge over the Limmat River you can enjoy a wonderful view of the historic part of the city. Postcards are made from this point.

6

The center of the old town with many historic buildings and small streets to linger and stroll.

7

The newest district right next to the main train station with many restaurants and shops.

8

The Josefswiese is one of the most beautiful parks in Zurich in district 5.

9

Frau Gerolds Garten is a hip, spacious and urban city garden with lots of greenery, connected to bars and shops made from old freight containers. On warm days you can linger here with a cold drink and good food. This is definitely a hotspot in Zurich. It can get really crowded here on the weekends. There are also concerts and other events from time to time. The surrounding area also has a lot of culture to offer with various music clubs, restaurants and a standing surfing wave. Yes, you heard me right! Urban Surf is the name of this location including bar and restaurant. Surfboards can be borrowed.

10

The old railway viaduct is a mixture of shopping street and cultural center. Many small shops from local brands as well as restaurants and a market hall. The disused train route now serves as a footpath and cycle path, which of course we don't want to miss.

11

The Lettenareal is "the" recreation zone in the city. Where trains used to run on railway tracks, all sorts of city dwellers now jog, skate, play or swim and enjoy the water and fresh air. The baths in the upper and lower Letten are meeting places for many people in Zurich. In summer it can sometimes be difficult to find a place on the meadow.

12

The Platzspitz Zurich is one of the oldest parks in the city right next to the State Museum behind the main train station. It is centrally located between the two rivers Limmat and Sihl. At the end there is an interesting but also tragic story from Zurich to hear.
