Kutaisi is one of the oldest cities in the world, rich with history, architecture, historical and natural monuments. For this reason, it is visited by many foreign and local visitors.
Kutaisi is in the Imereti region located on the bank of Rioni River. The city lies at an elevation of 125–300 meters above sea level and is considered as the center of Imereti. Imereti Region Geographically is located at the center of Georgia and has a good natural boundary.

Martvili Canyon Natural Monument is located in the Martvili municipality, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region. Once we reach the protected area you are going to have an opportunity to take part in different activities. One of the most demanded activities here is a boat ride. You are able to enjoy a 300-meter boat tour on river Abasha and beautiful views of the mountain river canyon. On the other hand, you can just take a walk along Martvili canyon and take pictures with fascinating views. Here are 2 bridges, 3 platform views and historical 30 steps stair constructed by large limestone boulders. The canyon is a nice place to visit if you like nature.

After Martvili canyon we head forward Okatse Canyon which is located nearby. It takes around 40-50 minutes of driving. Okatse Canyon Natural Monument is located in village Gordi, Khoni municipality, Imereti region. Okatse Canyon 2-3-hour pedestrian route passes through Dadiani historical forest, 780 m length hanging trail and finishes with panoramic view. Okatse Canyon occupies more than 2 kilometers and regarded to be the masterpiece of nature. Here you can take a walk which takes around 1-2 hours or takes a 4x4 car and have a ride-along. If you like nature this protected area is for you, with the hot weather you cannot visit the better place, to beautiful nature and fresh area it is a real adventure. The following comes to lunch in a local restaurant where you are able to get known to local dishes.

Kinchkha Waterfall - The natural monument, the three-step waterfall cascade is in the valley of satsiskvilo. The upper two stages are on the right tributary of the Satsiskvilo river, the first waterfall height is about 25 m and the second waterfall rises to 70 m. Streamflow connected to river Satsiskvilo forms the third 35 meters high stage. It is located in Khoni municipality, in the village of Kinchka, 843 meters above the sea level.
