This tour is a combination of three different attractions in Zanzibar and together they allow you to explore them on the same day with aid from our qualified and certified guide.
The tour normally starts at Stone Town where we catch a motorized boat that takes about 25 minutes to Prison Island where we visit Sanctuary of Giant Land Tortoises, Peacocks, Prison Ruins and the beach and then we catch a boat again to take us to Nakupenda for about 35 minutes of ride, at Nakupenda where we spend the most part of the tour and here we normally swim, snorkel, take photos and also enjoy the seafood lunch with beach BBQ prepared by our staff team.
The tour will continue to Stone Town which is our last part of the tour and here we normally visit different historical buildings, small bazaars, souvenirs and Stone Town Market with an aid from our professional guide.

Prison Island also known as Changuu Island lies about 25 - 30 minutes by wooden motorized boat from Zanzibar Stone Town and this is where you will visit the Prison Ruins built by General Lloyd Mathews in 1893 and hence the name Prison Island. The Tour includes the visit to the Sanctuary of Aldabra's giant tortoises brought by British Governor of Seychelles in 1919 as a gift to Sultan of Zanzibar. During the tour, you will be able to visit the sanctuary for the land giant tortoises, peacocks and the prison ruins. The Tour will also provide you with the chance to swim in the clear crystal water, sunbathe and snorkel at the nearest coral reef before you find your way back to Nakupenda for another experience.
This is a Sandbar that is located about 55km from Prison Island and this is where the tour will take travelers right after the visit to Prison Island. here all the travelers will have an opportunity to explore the Sandbar for about 03 hours before returning to stone town.
At Nakupenda travelers will have time to swim, sunbathe, take photos as well as having seafood lunch and beach BBQ accompanied by tropical fruits and non-alcoholic beverages.
Travelers will then take 25 minutes boat ride from Nakupenda to Stone Town for their last attraction for the day.
