Meet your local guide in front of the statue of Alessandro Volta, the inventor of the first electrical battery, the Voltaic Pile (year 1799).

A beautiful square right on the water, where locals love to meet. An ideal location to relax, sit at cafes, and look at the private boats heading to Bellagio.

Admire the white marble facade and imposing dome of the Roman Catholic cathedral of the city of Como, dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Broletto or "Town Hall" is the most important medieval secular building in Como, currently used as a conference hall and art exhibition center.
