At the cocoa farm we will learn about the first cocoa farm in Ghana, life span of cocoa and socio-economic benefits to the country. In arriving at Aburi Gardens, we will have a tour at the site which will take about 45mins - 1hr. We will discover different kinds of plant species from across different part of the world. After the tour we will proceed to our next stop.
Over here we will discover the twin waterfalls that flows next to each other. Our guide will explain to us and help us understand the myths behind the story of the falls and its discovery.
We will discover Ghana's first cocoa farm. Our guide will explain to us the life span of a cocoa tress, the benefits and how cocoa came into Ghana. We will also be thought about the socio-economic importance cocoa as a cash crop. Over here we will have the chance to have a taste of a cocoa bean/seed.
We will stop by at our regular rest stop in the Aburi region where we have lunch. Lunch is usually Jollof rice or fried rice with chicken or tilapia fish. There are options available based on you choice and we take dietary requirement into consideration. Vegetarian meals available.
