Historic Fort Lauderdale Beach & the scenic intercoastal are beautiful sites to see on your trip!
Port Everglades is South Florida's main deep-water seaport in Fort Lauderdale, one of the world's busiest cruise ports with nearly 4 million passengers annually and a major hub for container, petroleum, and bulk cargo. It's located just minutes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and serves as a homeport for lines like Royal Caribbean, Princess, and Holland America.
As you cruise past Fort Lauderdale Beach by boat, the skyline of gleaming high-rise hotels and condos rises straight from the sugar-white sand, backed by swaying palms. The water turns that iconic electric turquoise right at the shore, packed with swimmers and bright umbrellas, while the historic beach pier juts out like a postcard in the foreground.
