When you arrive at Bon Island find somewhere to relax in the shadow of one of the many Pandanus Pines. As you walk around, be sure to look for the different kinds of Wildlife found on the island, especially the hundreds of Hermit Crabs as they search for food or a new shell to move into. Apart from the hermit and other crabs, the island features many Monitor Water Lizards, local birds and insects. This inland wildlife, plus all the marine life that abounds off its coasts - more specifically off its southwestern coast, which hosts a good snorkelling spot – make Bon Island a great and easily accessible getaway from Phuket.
